The Haunting Sweet Dreams

I see them,

Almost every night of late.

These haunting, sweet dreams.

Dreams of bliss,

And love,

Dreams which realize,

What I want.

I waken,

Wishing they were reality,

Only to find agony.

Perhaps I’m shackled,

To these memories,

To these desires.

Ever wishing,

That things had gone better.

In that case,

How do I move on?

So I can see dreams,

That will not haunt me.
